Our Policies
We accept children from 2 years old up to 4 years 11 months old
We aim to follow a routine with the children, but with a ‘Go With The Flow’ attitude when circumstances arise, (which they often do) and operate a Café style snack throughout each session We have our own allotment and also have access to the local woods (children are encouraged to be involved in this) fully supervised and monitored by our fully trained staff When your child is three, they are entitled to five free sessions, funded by the Government and funding is also available for certain two year old children subject to certain criteria (Please ask a staff member for details)
Please Note: Absences for Non-Funded children must be paid for
All children are supported in developing their potential at their own pace and Our KEY-PERSON system, enables us to ensure a planned curriculum, tailored to the needs of each individual child through the Early Years Foundation Stage towards the Early Learning Goals

The Prime Areas begin to develop quickly in response to relationships and experiences which run through and support learning in all areas
The Specific Areas include essential skills and knowledge which grow out of Prime Areas and provide contexts for learning

We have been established since the 1960’s We are a Limited Company with Charitable status We are highly regarded within the Community We are committed to providing quality Nursery education We aim to provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment which is fun and encourages friendship building with other children and adults We offer opportunities for you and your family to be directly involved in the activities of the Nursery and in your child’s progress We are registered with Ofsted and the Early Years and Childcare Partnership and our overall planning provides education and care throughout the Early Years Foundation Stage Each child is allocated a key person and you can liaise with that practitioner to discuss any issues relating to your child
